Ferrari may want to start looking in the rear-view-mirror because McLaren Automotive seems to be catching up pretty fast. The British automaker announced today that it has opened its first showroom in Milan, Italy. The opening was celebrated with more than 250 guests hosted by McLaren Automotive Managing Director Antony Sheriff and McLaren Milan Dealer Principal Ado Fassina.
The Milan showroom is one of the 35 retailer McLaren stores to be picked by McLaren to sell a future range of supercars, starting with the McLaren MP4-12C.
“The opening of McLaren Milan marks a significant point in the development of McLaren Automotive,” said Sheriff. “My vision for this company is to design and build the most innovative, efficient and high performance sports cars in the world. We have underlined our intent with the launch of the new MP4-12C.”
