Next-generation Toyota Avalon to get Audi A7, Jaguar XJ styling cues
We here at egmCarTech are pretty excited to see the 2012 Lexus GS 350 later this month when it makes its debut at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Lexus says that the new GS will ‘lead the rest of the Lexus lineup in an entirely new direction of driving dynamics.’
So what about Toyota? Later this year, Toyota will debut the next-generation Camry. Dealers says that the 2012 Toyota Camry isn’t changing the recipe much with its fall 2012 redesign, however, the next generation Avalon will be something to look out for.
Dealers recently had the chance to see the new Avalon at Toyota’s national dealer meeting in Las Vegas in June and left ‘raving about the Avalon more than the Camry,’ reports Automotive News.
The next Toyota Avalon will hit dealers in fall of 2012 and will borrow a lot of its styling from the Audi A7, Jaguar XJ and some Lexus touches. The model will keep its 3.5 liter V6 but handling is reported to be improved.
