Edo Competition, a German tuner, just released a kit called the Dark Edition for the BMW M5 Touring.
The exterior gets some subtle modifications, including a new front bumper, equipped with fog lights, and a rear bumper that is fitted for four exhaust pipes. A rear wing has also been added, along with side skirts. Dunlop 255/35 front and 285/30 rear tires cover a set of all black 20-inch alloy wheels.
Edo fits the interior with carbon fiber and leather material upgrades. Additionally, a set of white gauges with an extended speedometer that hits 220 mph are an available option. That speedometer will be difficult to pass up, considering Edo did away with the car’s electronic governor, giving the M5 Dark Edition a 190-mph top speed.

Friendly to the heavy-footed, the 5.0-liter engine gets high-flow air filters and catalytic converters, a stainless steel exhaust system with butterfly valves, and a modified ECU. This takes the horsepower form 500-hp to 547-hp, and kicks the torque up to 413 lb-ft from its original 384 lb-ft of torque.
The BMW clocks in at 4.2 seconds in 0-62 mph, down from the stock 4.7-second time.
