Now that’s still no match for the hardcore version of the Nissan GT-R – the Nissan GT-R Spec V. According to Best Car, Nissan is even working on another model that will be even tougher than the Spec V. Known as the Nissan GT-R Spec R, the top-of-the-line Godzilla model will debut at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. The GT-R Spec R is rumored to be 40 pounds lighter than the Spec V and will produce around 560-hp.

To keep up, it is rumored that Lexus is also working on a competitor to the Nissan GT-R Spec R. Known internally as the Lexus LFA II, the model will build on the Nurburgring Package and will push around 570-hp.

Now this is getting kind of exciting. If all this is believed to be true, we’ll have more details by the end of the year.
