NASCAR’s Kyle Busch ticketed for going 128 mph in his Lexus LFA
NASCAR driver Kyle Busch was pulled over and ticketed by Iredell County police Tuesday for driving 128 mph in a 45 mph zone in his new Lexus LFA. While we can’t blame him, we can’t celebrate his actions either.
Busch, who is a self-proclaimed ‘bad-boy,’ has two other traffic violations on his record. He is also on probation by NASCAR because of a little fight he had with competitor Kevin Harvick during the May 7 Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.
“I was test driving a new sports car and I got carried away,” Busch said in a statement. “I went beyond the speed I should have been going on a public road.”
He said that “something like this will never happen again.”
