Earlier this week, Ferrari handed over the keys to the one-off Ferrari Superamerica 45 to Peter Kalikow, who visited the factory to take delivery of his special one-off mode. The Ferrari Superamerica 45, which was designed and engineered in-house, and was commissioned by Mr. Kalikow to celebrate 45 years since he first became a Ferrari client (we wish we had that kind of money). The Ferrari Superamerica 45 will make its debut a the Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza this week.
“The design is bespoke, featuring a carbon-fiber rotating hard-top which incorporates a rear screen,” Ferrari said. “The boot is entirely new to house the roof when open, and is now in carbon-fiber with a design optimized to reduce drag and increase rear downforce.”
The rear buttresses are body-colored, integral with the rear wheelarches and incorporate rear quarterlights. The Ferrari Superamerica 45 also gets a specific chrome front grille and special burnished aluminum A-pillars, wing mirrors and door handles.
On the inside, Ferrari added a bunch of nice touches including Cuoio leather trim and Blu Scuro carbon fiber details and a latest-generation touch-screen infotainment system
The one-off Ferrari Superamerica 45 is finished in a nice Blue Antille, a color that matches Kalikow’s 1961 400 Superamerica cabriolet nr. 2331SA.
