Zagao Perana Z-one to enter production, only 999 to be made
South African-produced Zagato Perana Z-one is entering development and the car could make its production debut at the Festival of Speed in early July.
The South African supercar, which made its concept debut at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show a couple years ago, will be produced in limited numbers – just 999 are scheduled to enter production each demanding a price tag of just under £70,000 ($113,879 USD).
For all that money you’ll get the Zagato Perana Z-one with air-conditioning, a touch-screen infotainment system with sat-nav, bigger Brembo brakes and optional Recaro seats.
Power for the Zagato Perana Z-one will come from a 6.2L V8 that transfers 440-hp to the rear-wheels with a maximum torque of 397 lb-ft. Mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, it will be capable of going from 0 to 62 mph in the low 4-second range.
