Since the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 has been eating up all the headlines, many have forgotten about the extreme Sesto Elemento Concept, which debuted at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Following the debut of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept, it was reported that the model will go into limited production as a track-only model.
While nothing is official, a new report by Auto Motor and Sport says that the Sesto Elemento will hit dealerships in the third quarter of 2011. The report says that the Sesto Elemento will see a limited production run of just 10 or 20 units priced around $2.8 million.

Guess we’ll have to wait until the third-quarter of 2011 to see of this is true.
Refresher: The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento shows off Lamborghini’s abilities in carbon-fiber technology. Weighing in at just 2,202 pounds, the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is powered by a V10 engine making 570-hp. That allows it to have a power-to-weight ratio of only 1.75 kilograms per hp and a 0-62 mph time of just 2.5 seconds.
