Lexus planning high-performance CT200h, affordable sedan, 7-seater SUV
Lexus is planning to ditch its one-size-fits-all strategy and is planning to add new-models that will spearhead the luxury brands lineup with a wider range of options as offered by its German rivals.
An executive of Lexus says that the brand is planning a more hardcore version of the Lexus CT 200h, a new affordable luxury sedan and a 7-seater SUV.
”New arrivals are going to play a big part [of our push towards record Lexus sales],” said Tony Cramb, Lexus chief executive.
The high-performance version of the hybrid-only Lexus CT200h will most likely be called the Lexus CT 300h and will be powered by a bigger gasoline engine and electric-motor to offer a more spirited performance. There is not word of an even more powerful Lexus CT F.
