Want an electric-cars with some oomph to it? Yulon Motor, Taiwan’s largest automaker may be onto something. At the 2011 Shanghai Motor Show, Yulon unveiled its Luxgen Neora Concept, an electric-sedan concept that also provides design cues for future Luxgen models.

Power comes from a 241-hp electric motor fueled by a 48-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack. The system pushes the Luxgen Neora from 0 to 60 mph in less than 6.5 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph. On a full charge, the Luxgen Neora can travel a total of 250 miles.

How long does it take to reach full charge? Yulon didn’t say how long a full charge will take but it said that the battery pack that can be quick-charged to 80 percent capacity in one hour.
