Video: Behind the scenes of a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 film shoot

The new 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 looks very pretty in pictures and sitting nicely at the auto show stand. However, there is no other way to experience this bull than seeing it roar up and down a desert – and that’s exactly what the lucky guys at Inside Line experienced when they joined Lamborghini for a film shoot for the Aventador in the California desert.

Are we jealous? Of course, we’re envious.

Refresher: The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 will be powered by a 6.5L V12 engine making 690-hp and 509 lb-ft of torque. Mated to the company’s new ISR (Independent Shifting Rod) 7-speed transmission, 0 to 60 mph will come in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 217 mph. The Aventador is an all-wheel-drive supercar courtesy of Lamborghini’s Haldex 4-wheel drive system. Prices will start north of $375,000.
