2012 Lamborghini Aventador sold out for more than a year

Shortly after the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 made its debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, it was reported that the Murcielago successor has been sold out for its first year of production. Well, that figure is a little off. According to Lamborghini, the company has received more than a year’s worth of orders for the $385,000 supercar.

Prices for the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador start at $356,000, including a $2,000 destination charge. With a gas-guzzler tax, final pricing will reach close to $380,000.

It was reported earlier this month that Lamborghini is expecting to build a maximum of 4,000 units of the Aventador.
