Jewel tweets praises about the safety of her Cadillac after accident

Remember country singer Jewel? Well, the pregnant singer was involved in a accident this past week and was hit at a rural crossroads near Stephenville, Texas, by a volunteer fire department truck. The mom-to-be was then taken to the hospital, and was released – she and her baby are fine, her spokesperson told the Associated Press.

Over the weekend, Jewel decided to tweet about her Cadillac SRX and the tweet is the type of celebrity endorsement that GM could only dream of:

1 thing I do know is my car saved my & my baby’s life. Definitely going to get another Cadillac SRX! It absorbed all the damage and kept me safe.
