Shayton Equilibrium makes 1,084-hp, goes from 0-62 mph 3.1 seconds

In an automotive world where fuel-efficiency, hybrid and electric-cars are eating up all the headlines, it’s refreshing to see a new supercar be born. Slovenian company Provoco has launched a new brand called Shayton (meaning falcon) and promises that its Equilibrium supercar model will compete with the best.
Designed by Andrej Stanta and Dominik Cerneli, the Shayton Equilibrium is constructed from a carbon-titanium chassis onto a forged aluminum alloy suspension. All that, along with carbon-titanium wheels and carbon body panels, keeps the total curb weight of the Shayton Equilibrium at 2,640 pounds.
Power for the Shayton Equilibrium comes fro ma V12 unit (displacement unknown) making 1,084-hp and a peak torque of 686 lb-ft. Mated to a sequential gearbox, the Shayton Equilibrium goes from 0-62 mph in 3.1 seconds, 0-124 in 8.9 seconds and has a top speed of over 249 mph.
Stoping power comes from Bremo carbon-ceramic brakes.
Shayton plans on building 20 units of the Equilibrium per year at prices over €,1,000,000 ($1,390,250 USD).
