Earlier last month we saw a preview of the Nissan ESFLOW Concept and today the concept made its official debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

The Nissan ESFLOW Concept is a pure EV sports car concept that is powered by similar technology found in the Nissan LEAF. The rear-wheel-drive two-seater has two electric-motors that are placed above the axis of the rear-wheels. Fuel is provided by laminated lithium-ion batteries mounted low for best weight distribution. The Nissan ESFLOW goes from 0-62 mph in under 5 seconds and can travel 150 miles on a full charge.

Nissan says that the ESFLOW is “production ready” so we don’t see why we wouldn’t see something like this on the roads. It’s only a matter of when we will see it going head-to-head with the Tesla Roadster.
