2012 Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet drops its top in 9.5 seconds
The much talked about 2012 Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet (Convertible) will finally be dropping its top at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show and it will be dropping it with a new electro-hydraulic drive that opens the Golf’s top in just 9.5 seconds.
Design wise the 2012 Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet reminds us of the stateside’s Eos, but there is a lot of Golf in when you look closely, especially with the GTI-inspired LED rear-lights. Volkswagen says that the 2012 Golf Cabriolet is one of the quietest convertibles today that can be opened or closed during speeds of up to 18.6 mph.
