Hey, Cy Waits, if you’re reading this – here is something else Paris Hilton can use for her 30th birthday besides the Lexus LFA. Lexus has announced a new driver development program for owners of the new 2012 Lexus LFA. The program will run from March 8 to March 15 and will include a full day of high performance driving with racing professionals at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California.

The Lexus LFA Driving Development Program offers a mix of racing theory, track lapping sessions, performance limit exercises and technical demonstrations.

“This program offers a unique opportunity to experience the 552 horsepower Lexus LFA supercar in its natural environment,” said Mark Templin, group vice president and general manager, Lexus Division. “Lapping Infineon and tips from the professional drivers will certainly enhance the overall LFA ownership experience.”

Lexus started deliveries of the LFA in January 2011 and expects the final LFA deliveries to finish in 2012.

Refresher: Power for the Lexus LFA comes from a 4.8L V10 engine that makes 552-hp with a maximum torque of 354 lb-ft. Mated to a 6-speed Automated Sequential Gearbox, the LFA goes from 0-60 mph with a time of just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph.
