2011 Geneva Preview: Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package will finally debut in the flesh

We’ve been hearing about the Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package for quite a while now (if I recall correctly, we’ve been hearing about it before the LFA’s original debut) – however, we have yet to see it in the flesh. Lexus announced that it will finally unveil the Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show next March.

“Aimed at customers looking for even greater levels of performance from the V10 supercar, the Nurburgring Package is available on a maximum of 50 of the 500 cars that are being built,” Lexus said in a statement. “It provides additional aerodynamic features and technical revisions to improve handling and downforce, increases engine output by 10bhp to 562bhp and speeds up gear shifts in the six-speed sequential transmission.”
Can’t wait to finally see it.
Refresher: Power for the Lexus LFA comes from a 4.8L V10 engine that makes 552-hp with a maximum torque of 354 lb-ft. Mated to a 6-speed Automated Sequential Gearbox, the LFA goes from 0-60 mph with a time of just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph.
