Chrysler Jefferson plant workers arrested after accused of using drugs

Chrysler workers busted for drinking, smoking pot on lunch break in Sept. 2010

Back in Sept. 2010, Chrysler fired 13 employees that were using their lunch break to drink alcohol and consume marijuana. Well, it seems like even after that some Chrysler employees have not learned their lessons.

Three workers from the company’s Jefferson North Plant were arrested recently for alleged drug use during their lunch break after police were tipped off by Chrysler.

Workers were arrested on Jan. 24 but have not been formally charged.

“Our office did surveillance on them and observed them go to a house in Detroit,” Lt. Honey said. “The workers may not be identified because they haven’t been arraigned.”
