2012 Lancia Ypsilon teased before Geneva debut, two new models confirmed as well

2012 Lancia Ypsilon

Fiat SpA’s Lancia brand has a lot of new vehicles up its sleeve for the 2011 Geneva Motor Show with the most important being the 2012 Lancia Ypsilon. The Ypsilon, teased here in an online Holiday greeting card, is Lancia’s best-selling model and the brand hopes it will continue to be its volume seller.

The interactive Holiday greeting card says that the Geneva Motor Show will feature three new Lancia models, including the Ypsilon. What are the other two models? Well, one is expected to be the Lancia Thema sedan, which will be based on the 2011 Chrysler 300. The second model may be a rebadged Chrysler 200 or a Chrysler Town & Country – we’ll have to wait and see.

Chrysler Group and Fiat SpA CEO Sergio Marchionne has repeatedly said that he will sell Chrysler brand models in Europe as Lancia models.
