On the stateside, there have been many tuners to offer modifications for the new Chevrolet Camaro. GM’s European tuning partner Irmscher has put together a modification kit for the Chevrolet Camaro SS. Known as the i42, the package is being offered to European owners of the new Camaro.
Power for the Chevrolet Camaro i42 comes from a supercharged version of the 6.2L V8 making 502-hp, which is probably the closest you’ll get to the 550-hp Camaro Z28 until it makes its debut sometime next year. Performance was enhanced with the help of Auto Magnus and Velocity Performance Parts, which helped out with a sports exhaust system, upgraded brakes and an adjustable sport suspension. 0-62 mph comes in 4 seconds flat with a top speed of 171 mph.
The Chevrolet Camaro i42 rides on 22-inch alloy wheels, offered in black or silver. The body features some black racing stripes and some extra upgrades.
Prices start at €49,000 (around $65,000 USD), which includes the standard Camaro SS.
