Following the disappearance and murder of founder Uwe Gemballa, tuning firm Gemballa reopened its doors and said that it is working on a version of the Panamera and the Cayenne. The tuner is now staying true to its promise with the Gemballa Tornado, a modified version of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo.
Fitted with a new body kit, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo based Gemballa Tornado gets a carbon fiber hood, bumpers, doors along with carbon fiber trims. Power comes from Gemballa’s Stage Two performance package which gives the twin-turbo V8 a total of 666-hp and 737 lb-ft of torque. Stopping power comes from a Brembo braking system with internally-ventilated discs that measure 420 mm front and 405 mm rear. They Gemballa Tornado rides on 22-inch wheels.
No word on pricing yet, but Gemballa said it will only produce 30 units to go hand-in-hand with its 30th anniversary.
We eagerly await the arrival of Gemballa tuned Porsche Panamera sedan.
