Before you get all excited – the teaser above does not show the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe – it’s just the grille of the 2011 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sport Sedan. However, if you’re looking forward to getting into the forthcoming 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe, the Stuttgart automaker is giving away two in a new Twitter sweepstakes.
Known as the “Mercedes-Benz Tweet Race” Mercedes-Benz is promising two winners a 2012 C250 Coupe and Super Bowl XLV tickets. How do you participate?
For firsts, you have to be a popular social media guru. Benz will choose eight social media geeks based on their Twitter Klout scores and overall social media presence. The group will be flown out to Super Bowl XLV where they will be split into four teams. Those teams will fly to select cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Tampa. From there they will drive down to Dallas in a special-outfitted Mercedes car. The contestants will have to go through a series of challenges and Tweet about their experience.
The team that tweets the most, succeeds in the challenges and earns the most point on their way to Dallas will win a pair of 2012 Mercedes-Benz C250 Coupes. Their vehicles will be delivered on October 2011.
