Infiniti design boss: Infiniti EV sketch provides strong hint at production model
Infiniti plans on launching a fully electric vehicle in the United States and other global markets in 2013. A sketch of the upcoming model was released in Sept.
“Befitting the brand”s promise of ‘Inspired Performance,’ the Infiniti EV will be a stylish, high performance five-seat luxury vehicle with zero emissions technology,” Infiniti said.

How close will the actual model look to the sketch we see here? Very close apparently. According to Nissan/Infiniti’s design boss Shiro Nakamura, the 5-seater sedan sketch is very close to what his team wants to turn into reality.
The Infiniti EV is expected to use the same powertrain setup as the one that powers the Nissan LEAF.
