Ginetta G55 (Sketch)

No this isn’t a sketch of the next-generation Dodge Viper. It’s a sketch of Ginetta Cars’ new 370-hp GT4 race – the G55. The Ginetta G55 will make its official debut next month at the Autosport International Show in Birmingham.

The G55 is a sibling to the current 300-hp Ginetta G50, which competes against others in the Michelin Ginetta G50 Cup, a series to the British Touring Car Championship. Next year, the Michelin and Ginetta will team up a new Ginetta GT Supercup, in which the G50 and G55 will compete. Unlike the Ginetta G50, which uses a Ford 3.5L V6, the G55 uses a 3.7L unit along with other upgrades including a Hewland gearbox, cool-air induction kit, new front and rear brakes, new exhaust system and new bodywork.

Prices for the Ginetta G55 start from $116,000 and G50 owners can upgrade their to a G55 for $38,875.
