Czech Transport Minister banned from driving, found driving with phony plates

Vit Barta

Vit Barta, transport minister of the Czech Republic, has lost his driving privilege for six months, and was fined 5,000 koruna ($283) after he was found driving a car with phony license plates.

Barta was found driving his Maserati home from his wedding in July, and had lost his license plate while driving along a rugged dirt road. He used a phony one to replace it, which is illegal in the Czech Republic.
