2011 Ford F-150

Ford F-150 enthusiasts rejoice; test-driving your favorite vehicle just got a lot easier. With the launch of an aggressive marketing campaign for the all-new EcoBoost powered 2011 F-150 Roundup, Ford will be embarking on a 60-city tour to push promote the vehicle. At the heart of this push, is a program by which potential buyers can register to have a Ford representative bring the truck to a person”s home or place of business for a 30-minute test drive.

Ford is touting the EcoBoost V-6 as being just as powerful as a V-8 with its twin turbo charging and direct fuel injection. As described, the engine delivers 365 horses, up to 11,300 pounds of trailer tow capacity, and up to 3,060 pounds of payload capacity

“We want to give as many customers as possible the opportunity to drive it before it’s even available at their local Ford dealership,” said Marc Lapine, F-150 consumer marketing manager, in a press release.

The program will commence in Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Cleveland, and Columbus, Ohio, and will run through January.
