Video: CARandDRIVER pins Lexus LFA against Ferrari 599 HGTE

Lexus is finally playing with the big boys and has taken the likes of Ferraris, Lamborghini, Aston Martins and Bentleys. To see if the Lexus LFA lives up to all it’s made out to be, the folks at CARandDRIVER decided to test the new Japanese supercar against the Ferrari 599 HGTE.
What exactly is the HGTE? Available on the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, the HGTE package stands for Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione. The package offers a sportier and improved handling thanks to stiffer springs and rear anti-roll bar along with calibration settings for the magnetorheological shock absorbers. It also features lowered ride height, a modified F1 gearbox for faster shifts, improved acceleration and a new exhaust silencer with more thrilling sound.
