General Motors announced last week that it will partner with Greg Heinrich, owner of Fairway Chevrolet in Las Vegas, to auction off the second production Chevrolet Camaro Convertible at the Barrett-Jackson Auction.

“The winning bidder will receive the second 2011 Camaro Convertible produced for consumer sale,” GM said in a statement. So how much did the winning bidder end up paying? A total of $205,000.

The production 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible will debut later this fall. Sales will begin in time for summer 2011.
