Chrysler workers busted for drinking, smoking pot on lunch break

While many of us aren’t a fan of Fox News, they sure have an entertaining way to deliver news. The news crew at the channel recently received a tip by a concerned worker at Chrysler’s Jefferson North plant that some employees were using their lunch break to drink alcohol and consume some marijuana.

Chrysler Group LLC spokeswoman Jodi Tinson said that the company is using the news segment to identify the workers and will be suspended without pay. The decision to fire or reinstate them will come Monday.

“As they are identified, they are being called in and interviewed and suspended without pay,” Tinson said. “We are still going through the tape, but we have quite a few so far.”

A total of 15 employees have been identified and suspended so far.
