2011 Toyota Prius prices start at $23,050, an increase of $250

In a press release providing some 2011 model year pricing changes Toyota said that the 2011 Prius will see a price bump of $250.

“The Prius, celebrating ten years of sales in the U.S., will have a MSRP range of $23,050 for the Prius Two model to $28,320 for the Prius Five model, an increase of $250, or 0.9 to 1.1 percent,” Toyota said in a statement.

The Prius Three model will start at $24,050 while the Prius Four will start at $26,850.

Refresher: Power for the 2011 Toyota Prius continues to come from a 1.8L 4-cylinder engine making 98-hp / 105 lb-ft of torque. Total output with hybrid system ““ 134-hp. That allows for 0-60 mph to come in 9.8 seconds with a top speed of 112 mph. EPA-rated fuel-economy comes in at 51/48 mpg.
