2011 Ford F-150 EcoBoost makes 365-hp, 420 lb-ft of torque

When FoMoCo announced that the 2011 Ford F-150 will be getting a 3.5L V6 EcoBoost that offers gains of 20% fuel economy on the 5.4 L V8 from the old F150. At the time, Ford didn’t release any performance specs but today we get some exciting new details.
The 2011 Ford F-150 EcoBoost will produce a total 365-hp and 420 lb-ft of torque at 2,500 rpm. The engine makes 90-percent of peak torque from 1,700 – 5,000 rpm.
The EcoBoost F-150 will go on sale in early 2011 and we’ll let you know how it performs once we get our hands on it.
