Video: Behind the Scenes of ‘The Competition’ commercial shoot for Cadillac CTS-V

Behind the Scenes of 'The Competition' commercial shoot

Cadillac have known for over 2 years now that their new sports sedan, the CTS-V: the day the automobile went to Germany and completed a lap in under 8 minutes (7:59.32 to be exact), was a special day in the vehicle”s development.

Cadillac is going to bank on that achievement and is in the process of creating a new ad commemorating the event. The director is no racing slouch, either: Jeff Swartz, who broke Rhys Miller”s class record in a 911 GT3 on Pike”s Peak, was in charge of creation. With a story like the CTS-V”s to tell, and a man like Swartz to tell it, the ad will definitely be worth watching, and you might end up watching it more than once.

Check out the making of the commercial after the jump.
