Scion tC lineup could see more bodystyles beyond coupe
The Scion tC someday could be available in more variants beyond a coupe. According to Scion’s vice president Jack Hollis, the “tC platform has plenty of flexibility to do more with.”
The Scion tC is based on Toyota’s MC platform. The platform also underpins the Lexus HS 250h and the Toyota Avensis in Europe. The Avensis comes in 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback and wagon body styles. While Hollis didn’t confirm any upcoming variants of the tC, he said that 5-door tC is possible.
Hollis recently killed rumors of a Scion tC convertible.
