Sergio Marchionne to speak at Chrysler dealer meeting in Sept.

Chrysler Group LLC Chief Executive Officer Sergio Marchionne

Chrysler Group CEO Sergio Marchionne will address the company’s dealers for the first time since taking leadership control of the company after it came out of its bankruptcy filing in 2009. Sources say that Marchionne will appear at Chrysler’s dealer show scheduled for Sept. 13-15 in Orlando.

Marchionne plans on putting together an enthusiastic speech that will pump up dealers for new products scheduled to debut later this year and next year. Among the vehicles to be shown at the show will be Dodge’s successor to the Durango crossovers, the re-engineered Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger rear-wheel-drive sedans, the 2011 Chrysler Sebring and Doge Avenger. Also to be shown at the show will be new version of the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans.
