Video: 2011 Nissan GT-R SpecM spotted at the Nurburgring
Late last year, blogs, forums and magazines were buzzing about something called a Nissan GT-R SpecM. The special edition GT-R was supposed to debut at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show but all we saw was an upgraded 2011 Nissan GT-R with some minor enhancements. And just when we thought the GT-R SpecM was dead, the man behind the project, Kazutoshi Mizuno, came out and said that Nissan always planned on doing a GT-R SpecM after it released the SpecV.
What exactly is the SpecM? It’s basically a Nissan GT-R with a a smoother ride, which will make the supercar more comfortable on everyday roads. The main focus will be to act like a road car first and a track car second.
Just to remind us the program is still alive and breathing, the folks at Auto Motor und Sport recently caught the Nissan GT-R SpecM testing at the Nurburgring.
Check out the video after the jump.
