2011 Kia Optima prices start at $18,995… according to online configurator

So you’re pretty excited about the 2011 Kia Optima, the first Kia vehicle ever that will actually turn heads when it drives down the roads. While sales of the model won’t start until fall 2010, Kia has launched an online configurator that allows you to build your own Optima.

While official pricing details have yet to be released, the configurator states a starting price of $18,995 for the base 2011 Optima LX powered by a 200-hp 2.4L GDI 4-cylinder engine. Prices top out at $26,495 for the 2011 Optima SX, which is powered by a 274-hp GDI turbo 4-cylinder.

Refresher: The base 2011 Kia Optima is powered by a 200 hp, 2.0L GDI turbo 4-cylinder. Buyers can opt for a 274-hp 2.0L GDI 4-cylinder turbo or wait for the 2.4L hybrid variant due out in early 2011. Sales begin fall 2010 with an estimated starting price of $18,995.
