Kia Motors is hitting the internet in search of talent to promote the Kia Soul. The YouTube contest will take submissions from viewers of videos based around the Soul, and will be judged by viewers starting on August 20. YouTube celebs SMOSH, ShayCarl, and Lisa Nova will also be judging.
The top eight finalists as selected by the judges, will be entered into a three-round voting process, with two finalists to be flown to LA for the announcement of the $10,000 grand prize winner.
Company VP of marketing and communications Michael Sprague said the following: “Social media is an important part of the marketing strategy for Soul, and engaging passionate enthusiasts in this space creates additional opportunities to build buzz through a new, interactive experience.”
