While every car enthusiast in the United States had their attention focused on the new 2011 Ford Explorer yesterday, those in Europe were enjoying the launch of the new Audi A7 Sportback, a ‘five-door-coupe’ as the company calls it.
The model goes on sale in Europe later this year and should start heading to the United States early next year. We’ll have more details on the U.S. launch very soon so while you wait patiently, check out the updated high-res image gallery after the jump.

Refresher: The 2011 Audi A7 Sportback goes on sale in Europe in late 2010 (early 2011 for U.S.) and will be offered with a choice of choice of two gasoline and two turbo diesel V6 engines, all featuring direct injection, an energy recuperation system and stop/start technology. The gasoline like consists of a 204-hp 2.8 FSI and a 300-hp 3.0 TFSI, while the diesel lineup consists of a 204-hp 3.0 TDI and a 245-hp 3.0L V6 TDI.
