Survey: Range Rover is top most ‘ideal’ vehicle, Porsche, Ford most ideal brands

The Land Rover Range Rover was rated as the top overall vehicle in AutoPacific”s 2010 survey of the most ideal vehicles, as surveyed by new owners. The California based research firm releases the results today and issued the most ideal premium brand award to Porsche, and Ford the most ideal volume brand.

42,000 new car owners were consulted for this survey, which used 15 categories for participants to rate vehicles by, based on how closely they come to their ideal car.

The Suzuki Kizashi was the top-rated car.

The survey awarded in 27 categories. Sixteen categories were won by American brands, six by European, and five by Japanese. No Korean brands scored segment wins in the survey.
