Chris Harris takes Ferrari 599 GTO around the track

About a week ago, Chris Harris gave us a little preview of the new Ferrari 599 GTO and what it’s like to drive the car on everyday roads. Of course, at some point of his video review we thought that no one can realize the full potential of the 599 GTO until it hits the track. Well, Chris did just that and the folks at EVO have now released a two part video showing the 599 GTO hitting up the track.

Refresher: Power for the Ferrari 599 GTO comes from a 6.0L V12 engine making 661-hp with a maximum torque of 457 lb-ft. Mated to a F1 6″“speed gearbox, the Ferrari 599 GTO goes from 0-62 mph in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of more than 208 mph. Ferrari says that the 599 GTO set a record lap at Fiorano in 1 minute and 24 seconds.
