Jaguar XE sports roadster to debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show

2010 Jaguar XKR Convertible

We’ve heard a lot about the Jaguar XE in the past (like here, here and here), and now the model is set to make its concept debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, around 50 years after the debut of the original XE.

The Jaguar XE will be based on a shortened version of the all-aluminum architecture of the next Jaguar XK coupe and convertible. It has been previously reported that Lotus will help Jaguar build the aluminum chassis.

As for power, it’s been rumored that the 5.0L supercharged engine from Jaguar will make 503-hp in the XE.
