Hyundai’s Tiburon replacement to debut in Paris with a different market in mind

Hyundai’s long-rumored replacement for the Tiburon coupe is expected to make its world debut at the 2010 Paris Motors Show in October, reports AutoCar.
Insiders at Hyundai say that the car will be a close match to the Veloster Concept and will have an asymmetric body, with two doors on the left-hand side of the car like the Mazda RX-8. Sources say that the car will also have a conventional hatchback.
What about power? According to those ‘sources,’ power will come from a 1.6L direct-injection Theta engine making 140-hp mated to an optional twin-clutch gearbox. A high-performance 200-hp 1.6L turbo version is also expected to debut after the launch.
