Sold Out! All 500 units of the Lexus LFA have been spoken for

Selling a $375,000 Lexus against Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini may have seemed difficult but it has been proven easier than expected. Toyota has announced that it has already booked orders and taken down payments of all 500 units of the Lexus LFA.

No details of orders by region were given but what we do know is that each buyer of the LFA had to cash out $125,715, just to be on the list to buy one. We also know that a third of the orders that came from Europe were from Germany.

One buyer compared his LFA purchase to owning a rare expensive mechanical wristwatch. “To most people, it’s an unknown quantity,” he said. “But true aficionados know its value.”

We definitely expect Lexus to come out with a convertible version to milk this for all it’s worth. Stay tuned.
