Report: GMC Sierra Denali Heavy Duty four-wheel dually planned

If the new 2011 GMC Sierra Denali 2500 Heavy Duty isn’t heavy duty enough for you, than you may want to hold out a bit for the new four-wheel model due out later this year. According to sources that spoke with PickupTrucks.com, GMC plans on introducing a dullay version of the Sierra Denali in the later part of 2010.

Like the 2011 GMC Sierra lineup introduced yesterday, the four-wheel dullay version will also be available with a choice of a Vortec 6.0L gasoline V8 making 360-hp and 380 lb-ft of torque and the 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel V8 making 397-hp and 765 lb-ft of torque.

Transmission choices will also remain the same with the 6.0L gasoline V8 being mated to a Hydra-Matic 6L90 6-speed automatic transmission while the 6.6L Duramax diesel being mated to a new Allison 1000 6-speed automatic.
