Video: Hennessey gives Lincoln MKS EcoBoost 435-hp, calls it MaxBoost 435

We recently test-drove the 2010 Lincoln MKS EcoBoost and realized that high-performance can be totally economical in terms of fuel-efficiency. Well, what happens when you throw fuel-efficiency out the window and just focus on high-performance?

The folks at Hennessey Performance have gotten their hands on the new Lincoln MKS EcoBoost and strapped on a couple of modifications to the 355-hp 3.5L V6 twin-turbocharged EcoBoost unit. Their upgrades resulted in a horsepower increase to 435-hp with a maximum torque of 405 lb-ft. That allows the Hennessey MaxBoost 435 (that’s what they call it) to go from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and to run the 1/4 mile in 13 seconds at 106 mph.
