Chrysler today released a press release titled “What’s New for ’10: Product Information Guide” and after doing some digging we found out that the company’s heavy-duty Dodge Ram 3500 Laramie Mega Cab 4×4 full-size pickup is the only new thing for 2010. In fact, there are a few things even missing from 2010.
Chrysler, which is now in a partnership with Fiat SpA, is banking on the face that some fuel-efficiency increases and price changes will help bridge the gap until Fiat-engineered vehicles arrive in 2011 and a bunch of small cars are introduced.
According to Jim Hall, with 2953 Analytics LLP in Birmingham, consumers may not notice anything different about 2010. Hall said that Chrysler must make the most of what it has and must depend largely on how the products are marketed.
Gone for 2010 is the Dodge Caliber SRT4. The 2010 model was revealed earlier this morning with a new diesel engine for the European market.
