Press Car of the Week: 2009 Pontiac Solstice Coupe GXP

2009 Pontiac Solstice GXP

Last month, General Motors Company shut the doors on its Boxwood plant in Delaware. The plant was responsible for building GM”s Kappa-platform roadster, the Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky and this… the 2009 Pontiac Solstice Coupe.

We just picked up our press car, a 2009 Solstice Coupe GXP on Friday. Why? Well, think of this as a farewell review. As usual, ask us questions you want answered about the car – we’ll be providing daily updates. So far, all we can say is – don’t purchase this car if you’re 6 feet or taller. It’s a very small car on the inside. Other than that, the 2.0L turbocharged Ecotec engine producing 260-hp really allows this small, lightweight, targa-top coupe to loosen up when you’re in the mood to step on the accelerator.

So let us have it. Ask us all you want to know about the 2009 Pontiac Solstice GXP.
