Fritz to hold webcast tomorrow – Group shown new Cadillac concept, 2012 Malibu, new XTS

General Motors President and CEO Fritz Henderson has a public webcast planned for tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. EDT. However, before that (earlier today) GM held a little low-key event with its PR team, some of the public and some social media leaders.

According to some chatter around Twitter, GM showed the group a new Cadillac concept called the ATS. The model hints at a future production model that will compete with the likes of the BMW 3-Series. The group was also told that the replacement for the Cadillac DTS, which will be called the XTS, will be based on the Buick LaCrosse platform and will be available in all-wheel-drive. Other than that, the next-generation Chevrolet Malibu was unveiled, which won’t see production in 2012 (no idea why).

We’re guessing we’ll also find out what 230 means tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. so make sure you join us early in the morning.
