2010 Acura RDX revealed on Acura’s Website
Instead of releasing a press release and bunch of high-res images, Acura has revealed its 2010 RDX compact SUV on its U.S. website. Major changes include the milk-mustache grille that every Acura model now has and … well, that’s about it. Look closely and you’ll see other minor tweaks including changes to the front lower bumper and hexagonal dual-exhaust tail pipes.
Inside, the 2010 Acura RDX remains virtually unchanged – which brings us to the power and pricing.
Power still comes from a 2.3L Turbocharged 16-valve, DOHC i-VTEC in-line 4 making 240-hp with a maximum torque of 260 lb-ft. The 2010 Acura RDX with front-wheel-drive, which will be available in fall 2009, averages a fuel-economy of 19/24 mpg (city/highway). The RDX with SH-AWD is available now and averages 17/22 mpg. The engine is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission with Sequential SportShift paddle shifters, Grade Logic and Shift Hold Control.
Pricing starts at $32,520 for the base RDX with front-wheel-drive while the RDX with SH-AWD starts at $34,520. A Technology Package is available on both models for an additional $3,000.
